Reduce Containment and Cleanup Costs by Choosing an Alternative Media Blasting Method

Secondary waste is usually the biggest concern when planning a surface restoration project, as it can be costly and time consuming. During any construction, renovation, or restoration project there are problems to overcome, unique situations that arise, and a desired result and appearance that you are trying to achieve.

The most common surface restoration process used in construction, restoration or renovation is Traditional Sandblasting. Silica Sand is the original Blasting Abrasive but it is no longer recommended on most worksites due its high dust content and health concerns.

Therefore, we offer a solution to this problem by providing alternative Media Blasting methods. By choosing Dry Ice Blasting, Wet Abrasive Blasting, or a combination of both, we can reduce and even eliminate the need for secondary containment as well as significantly reduce your cleanup costs, saving you time and money.

Dry Ice Blasting-

uses C02 pellets that sublimate back to a gas upon impact therefore leaving no secondary waste. It is a Dry Process, safe around electrical and cleans equipment while in place. Equipment requires no disassembly, therefore reducing labor costs, especially when used for preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs. It is a non-conductive, non-toxic, and non-abrasive cleaning method.

Wet Abrasive Blasting-

uses Recycled materials and small amounts of water in a pressurized air stream. This allows the process to be extremely effective at lower pressures with 92% less dust compared to traditional sandblasting. Contaminants fall to the floor in a very small area surrounding the work being performed. We use Eco Friendly Recycled materials such as Recycled Glass, Glass Beads, Plastics, Coal Slag, and even Garnet to clean things such as wood, aluminum, stainless steel, structural steel, concrete, brick, stone, and more.
